Malcolm Tyndall

Director of Fundraising, Whizz-Kidz

Malcolm started his career in politics before moving into the Third Sector over 20 years’ ago.
In a wide ranging career he has run national teams covering fundraising, marketing and communications. He joined Whizz-Kidz in January 2017 after a series of strategic interim appointments including British Lung Foundation, Royal Society for Blind Children and PDSA. Prior to this he worked as a permanent Director for a number of organisations including National Association of Boys’ Clubs, Motor Neurone Disease Association, Elizabeth Finn Care and the Dimbleby’s family trust. He was also a consultant for the Home Office Drugs Strategy Unit.
Malcolm recently spearheaded a team at Whizz-Kidz which won this year PPL’s £1m Dream Fund – the third time in his career that he has landed a £1m contract.
Malcolm’s main expertise is to challenge organisations to think beyond what they do normally and to develop partnerships and innovative projects that engage and excite donors to add value to those with whom the organisation helps.
During his spare time, you can find Malcolm and his dog Roxy patrolling the canals of North London.
