A Range of Our Past Winners
Winning a Third Sector Award doesn't end when the ceremony is over! Past winners are invited back as judges, giving them further insight into the Awards. Winners have also gone on to feature in awards marketing, showcasing them as stars in the sector.
Every year, we pull together over 40 sector leaders to review and judge entries. Entries go through a two-step judging process. All are first individually reviewed & scored online to pull together a long-list of entries. The highest scoring entries are then put forward in front of our judges to discuss and re-score. This two-step process allows for opinions to be shared and ensures the winning entry is a true reflection of the sector.
Long-listed entrants into the Charity of the Year, Fundraising Team of the Year and Communications Team of the Year are also invited to present to our judges, allowing them to bring their entries to life and gives judges a chance to dig deeper for valuable information.
The awards night provides a unique opportunity for charities to bring together their teams and thank them for the contribution they make on a daily basis, because, let’s face it, too often charities fail to thank the individuals working the hardest to deliver results.
The evening also provides a chance to network with some of the best and brightest talent in the charity sector and rub shoulders with celebrity charity ambassadors.
We know from previous years that winning a Third Sector Award can make a difference to an organisation too. Not only does it boost staff morale but it boosts credibility and increases awareness of your organisation, which can help convince even more donors and funders that you’re a cause worth supporting.
