Chine McDonald has 15 years of experience in journalism and media, as well as communications within the third sector. She currently leads the media & PR team at international development charity Christian Aid and prior to that worked at World Vision UK. She read theology & religious studies at Cambridge University before training as a newspaper journalist and over the years has written for several regional and national publications. Chine is an author and broadcaster, and a regular presenter on BBC Religion & Ethics programmes, including Thought for the Day on Radio 4's Today programme, the Daily Service and Pause for Thought. She also sits on a number of charity boards, including Greenbelt Festival, the Church & Media Network, Christians Against Poverty and the Sophia Network.
