Save the Children has teamed up with Peppa Pig to make a splash on the fundraising landscape – Peppa Pig’s Muddy Puddle Walk for Save the Children. Piloted in 2017 the event raised £247,000 by encouraging families and nurseries to get outdoors, go on a Muddy Puddle Walk and fundraise for some of the world’s most vulnerable children. This spring has seen the return of the UKs muddiest fundraising event for little ones. From 23rd – 29th April, over 190,000 pulled on their wellington boots to hop, skip and jump into muddy puddles with the aim of raising over £400,000 to save children’s lives all over the world. Now in its second year, we’ve expanded the event to create even more muddy fun, including local community events and an official Muddy Puddle Walk song and dance to get the little ones excited for their event. By harnessing one of the world’s most loved early years characters, we’ve created an amazing fundraising event for families and early years. It’s packed full of fun, adventures and learning, whilst engaging new, young audiences in our cause.
