Passport To BRITs Week

War Child

War Child and O2 teamed up to present Passport to BRITs Week, a series of fundraising gigs offering fans exclusive access to some of the biggest names in music in the most intimate venues.

The series, delivered by War Child and O2 working with the BPI and AEG Live, is supported by media partnerships with the Evening Standard, Radio X and Spotify. This project raises a significant amount of money in a simple way. Fans enter a prize draw by paying £4.50 per entry to win a pair of passes to an individual artist’s show. The winners are required to use their passport as ID, meaning no touting or secondary trading of tickets.

Using the combined reach of our partners and participating artists, War Child’s message was delivered to millions of people and raised over £565,000.

The child refugees of war have no passports. They don’t get to choose where war sends them. War Child and O2 were able to turn an intimate club show for a few hundred fans into a life-changing impact for thousands of vulnerable children.
