Maurice Ostro OBE

Fayre Share Foundation

As Founder and Chair of the Trustees of Fayre Share Foundation (FSF), Maurice Ostro OBE has pioneered a world-first in charity collaboration driven by his deep-rooted commitment to reducing inequalities and strengthening social integration.

A successful entrepreneur, he previously created a multi-cultural cohesive community in his companies.

More recently he has turned his attention to making a difference in the key areas of community harmony, religious tolerance and understanding across all sections of the community.

His landmark achievement is Collaboration House – a unique initiative that has brought together 13 interfaith and community organisations so they deliver a greater impact on society.

In addition to providing well-equipped office space for the resident charities, Collaboration House regularly invites leaders of public authorities and non-government organisations (NGOs) to engage with the resident charities, share best practice and undertake joint projects towards shared goals and objectives.

It also organises conferences and seminars on issues of mutual interest to upskill the resident charities in areas important to them.

The FSF promotes philanthropy, collaboration, interfaith relations and conflict resolution. Founded by Maurice, it takes its name from one of his companies.

Maurice is planning a further round of investment in Collaboration House because of its success.
