Citizens Advice Plymouth and EDF have been working in partnership for 11 years. This powerful relationship has been formed under the Warm Home Discount Industry Initiative and the partnership objective is to support clients that are experiencing fuel poverty and/or financial hardship.
We do this by empowering clients through debt, income maximisation and energy efficiency advice.
Citizens Advice Plymouth is a free, independent, and impartial organisation which reviews client's circumstances holistically. Evidence shows this is the best way of moving clients forward and tackling fuel poverty long term. This partnership is a national project supporting communities across the United Kingdom by telephone and digital platforms. With an ever-changing Utility industry and vulnerable clients self-disconnecting and often being afraid to use energy, it has never been more important for people to be able access the advice they need.
CA Plymouth's partnership with EDF is diverse, dedicated, and passionate about putting people at the centre of everything that we do.
