The Deliver Life Project Team at Wateraid was established to lead what would become our most successful appeal to date. The group consisted of members across the organisation with their own remit and objectives who had to work collaboratively to achieve the £5m public fundraising target.

The campaign spanned 3 months and consisted of a large range of activities developed around the theme of maternal health, under the umbrella of the 'Deliver Life' concept which focussed on bringing clean water, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) to Kiomboi hospital in Tanzania and highlighting the issue caused generally by lack of access to WASH for expectant and new mothers and medical staff.

Together this group established and delivered the campaign which raised just over £5m pre DFID match and £9.04m post match.
