As a youth homelessness charity, the third quarter (which we define as October to December) of every financial year is the most crucial period for Centrepoint’s fundraising activity. As well as Christmas, it contains the colder months during which homelessness is more prominent in public consciousness. The best way to examine Centrepoint’s fundraising success throughout the year is by looking at this intense period of activity.

In Q3 of 2016-17, we saw our largest ever fundraising partnership combined with our most successful ever Christmas appeal. These were punctuated by two of our largest ever fundraising events in terms of income. All of these fundraising activities were coordinated, integrated and made possible by teamwork across Centrepoint’s events, corporate and direct marketing teams.
