Anthony Nolan and African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust

As people from an African Caribbean background with blood cancer are much less likely to find a donor for a potentially lifesaving stem cell transplant, Anthony Nolan, working in partnership with the African Caribbean Leukaemia Trust, launched the #BeingAfricanCaribbean project to raise vital awareness in this community.

The ensuing digital campaign involved collaborations SBTV, stem cell donors, stand-up comedians, and celebrities including David Harewood, Rapman, and Richard Blackwood. It resulted in media appearances in The Sun and on Good Morning Britain, and an overwhelmingly positive response beyond any of our expectations.
