The Early Bird entry deadline is Thursday 9 May, 2019. However entries will be accepted until Thursday 6 June. Take advantage of the early bird rate and save £65/entry by submitting before midnight Thursday 9 May. 

Earlybird Entry fees (valid until Thursday 9 May)

Organisation with a turnover under £500K
  • £65 + VAT - first entry
  • £35 + VAT - all subsequent entries
Organisation with a turnover between £500K and £3M
  • £135 + VAT - first entry
  • £105 + VAT - all subsequent entries
Organisations with a turnover over £3M
  • £225 + VAT - first entry
  • £195 + VAT - all subsequent entries

Please note entries received after Thursday 9 May will increase £65+VAT per entry until Thursday 6 May.

If your work was carried out, started or completed between 1 May 2018 to 30 May 2019, it is eligible for entry.

Submissions made in previous years must show substantial improvements to be eligible for entry.

All support material required as part of your entry should be sent via the post. Please be sure to mark which category any material relates to.

Entries will only be accepted from registered UK charities or organisations. Your work and support can be carried out overseas, but you must be registered and based within the UK.

Yes, you can submit more than one entry into the same category or multiple categories. You can also submit the same entry into multiple categories.

Work that began in earlier years is eligible if it came to fruition during this period. Work that has been entered previously can be re-entered as long as the entrant can prove an improvement or change in the entry.

Agencies and consultancies may enter on behalf of the voluntary organisations they work for, provided they have their client’s approval. Please ask clients to email their approval to [email protected]

Long-listed entrants into Charity of the Year, Communications Team of the Year and Fundraising Team of the Year will be asked to present at the live judging day following the first round of judging. Live judging will take place on Thursday 18 July
Within each category the top 5-6 entries will be invited to a Central London location where a maximum of 3 team members will present their entry to the judges. 
The judging day is designed to give you the opportunity to present your entry to a distinguished panel of judges, giving them the opportunity to ask questions to ensure they fully understand the objectives and impact of your entry. Following the live judging, the shortlist will be announced for each category.

The finalists will be announced at the end July. All entrants will receive email notification and will be listed on ThirdSector.co.uk and on this website.

Yes, entries can be withdrawn up until 1 July 2019. Unfortunately entry fees will not be refunded.
