The partnership is between Marks & Spencer Plc (“M&S”) and youth charity, The Prince’s Trust (“PT”).
Through an employability programme called “Make Your Mark” (MYM) our partnership tackles the issues of youth unemployment and social exclusion amongst young people, whilst enabling M&S to have an impact upon the local communities in which it trades and operates.
MYM provides 4 weeks structured retail training and career support for disadvantaged young people across the UK. To-date nearly 3000 young people have been through MYM. We have seen extraordinary transformations in many of the participants (please see Supporting Material).
