The House of St Barnabas

The House of St Barnabas (HoSB) a charity since 1846 is housed in a Grade I listed townhouse and until 2006 was a homeless hostel. When the building was no longer was fit for purpose the trustees took the step to change to a social enterprise private members' club to generate income to support our Employment Academy. The process to open the social enterprise began in April 2012.

Our branding had not been updated for several years and didn’t represent the future vision for HoSB. The website was outdated, there were no brand values to support the mission and no useable assets. The brand needed to be completely overhauled to represent this new chapter in HoSB’s history. We now needed to communicate with and create a new audience, attract potential members to the club and promote our Employment Academy to other homeless organisations, key workers and local authorities.
In the Summer of 2012 we started a complete rebrand of The House of St Barnabas, this was completed in 2013.

In 2015 we recognised that we needed to refresh the brand so it reflected the distance travelled from the vision and the actual operation of the charity and our social enterprise.
