The British Heart Foundation with Asda

From March-September 2014, Asda became the first major retailer to roll out CPR training and defibrillators across their 607 sites, and achieved this 3 months ahead of schedule.

Asda and the BHF worked tirelessly together to make sure the project ran smoothly throughout. Asda’s total investment was just under £800,000 in 6 months, including staff fundraising to support the BHF’s vital research.

The project has literally been life-changing, with at least 6 deployments of PADs in stores, giving those involved the best chances of survival possible. Other organisations are now taking note and stepping up to the challenge.
