Many with mental ill health are struggling without support, and with an economic cost of £70 billion per year, MHFA England believes mental health deserves parity in the workplace.

The Take 10 Together campaign, created by Munro & Forster Communications, transformed a training course into a mental health movement. Leveraging World Mental Health Day, the multi-channel campaign that engaged the likes of CBI, CIPD, Unilever, BBC and Mind, to get the nation talking about Mental Health First Aid training. 

It went beyond awareness to drive real action - enabling people to talk meaningfully about mental health and driving employers to find out how to better support staff – ultimately delivering a cost-saving benefit to the British economy and improving the nation’s wellbeing. 

Through ‘real voices’, shareable content and smart collaboration, Take 10 Together reached over 50 million people driving a 50% increase in training enquiries for MHFA England. 

Since WMHD the campaign has captured international media interest and the attention of influencers from royalty to the Secretary of State for Health. The campaign ensured mental health rose up the government agenda and four months later the Prime Minister announced plans for a trained Mental Health First Aider in every secondary school.
