Langley is a leading offender rehabilitation charity. Our aim is to create radical transformation in the lives of men and women in the Criminal Justice system so that they reintegrate into society and live crime-free. We do this because we believe in the value and worth of every single person in society and that someone’s history should not define their destiny.
Our work spans not just one sector but three – Criminal Justice, Housing and Care – a fairly unique combination in both the Charity and Criminal Justice sectors. Our results are impressive and proven – we have one of the lowest reconviction rates in the country for those in our housing (less than 3%) and our long-term impact on reducing reoffending has twice been validated by the Ministry of Justice.
Significantly, we achieve these results whilst working with some of the most marginalised and challenging people within Criminal Justice, both in prison and in the community. We work with around 1300 people every year, providing tailored housing, support, care and/or advice. Our approach is characterised by excellence, grace and compassion, delivering targeted services that help our clients tackle the heart of issues so that they successfully move forward and change their lives.
